RABLIM, well placed early, failed to rally when roused. SASSY CHICK showed nothing: The others were outrun. KENTUCKY RED improved position gradually, came to the middle of the track for the drive and assumed command leaving the furlong pole, then drew out under pressure. VITAL SUN assumed command at once, increased margin along the inside, shortened stride after being challenged, but held on gamely. MISS TESS, well placed throughout, failed to respond under intermittent pressure. ST. GLORY passed tiring horses. MOMOS BOY went evenly. BONNIE SANDRA showed nothing. BACCHANTE closed stoutly in the late stages. ACE TROPHY was never prominent. FUSILEER was far back throughout. LITTfcE CAPTAIN, well placed throughout, continued on gamely under pressure. -WOLF WHISTLE disposed of BEST PUNCH soon after the start and drew clear, then saved ground, but was not good enough. PETER A. finished with a rush on the outside. ROYAL LUCK raced evenly. BYRONIC was unable to keep up. RATON broke well, dropped back and was never a threat. BEST PUNCH quit. ELLEHCOR forced the pace under light urging, came between horses as the field bunched and outfinished BOSS WELL. The latter joined the leaders after a quarter, was on the outside under pressure in the late stages and just failed to catch the winner. BLUE RHONDA came between horses with a rush to gain a slight advantage leaving the furlong pole, then * faltered. CARTER GIRL worked her way up on the outside to finish with good energy. EQUIROSE passed tiring horses with a belated rush. AMEN weakened after staying with the pace for five furlongs. BOLO RUNAWAY drew clear soon after the start, maintained the lead the final turn, then weakened. CENSURED raced evenly. SURVEY had no. mishap. The others were outrun. SPLIT THE WIND, steadied while working his way up on the outside, appeared to loaf after being straightened for the drive, then unleashed a rush that nipped WARRIOR PRINCE. The latter, never far off .the pace, came between" horses to gain command in the final sixteenth and just failed to last. FARMINGTON finished stoutly from far off the pace. VARODI rushed boldly on the outside to draw on even terms with the leader, then faltered. WE HOPE sprinted into command soon after the start, saved ground, but tired entering the stretch. HOT TIME was reaching the leaders when he went wide and lost much ground. BLUE NOBLEMAN opened a clear lead at once, maintained advantage until straightened for the drive, then weakened. FRENCH QUEEN gained the lead after a half mile, drew clear, saved ground and just failed to last. MONSTRANCE broke alertly, was kept on the pace for a half mile, then tired steadily. FLARES DURBAR, in closest attendance of the pace most of the trip, rallied mildy, but-was not good enough. PAINTED ARROW was unable to outrun the early leaders, remained in forward position under light restraint, then drifted out when put to a drive. OLD UNION had no mishap.
