OFF AT 5:35 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate for all but FRIENDLY DON. Won driving; second and third the same. WARY MARY, reserved for a half mile, moved up on the rail when called upon, disposed of HELENS BOY and was gradually going away. The latter forged through on the rail .to reach the lead, drew out on the far-turn and weakened in the drive. FRIENDLY DON was off slowly and caught tired horses in a mild rally. INAUGURAL had no excuse. HONEST ENGINE gave way in the final quarter mile. BIG HOPE failed to respond. DR. RUSH was much used engaging COUNT QUICK for the early lead. GYPSY ACTRESS broke down coming out of the first turn.
