WELL WISHER went into a clear lead quickly and came to the inside, drew away when roused and won easily. VALLEYS PAL, closest to the pace on the rail, threatened mildly in the stretch, but was no match for the winner. SPRING GAL went up steadily on the outside in the backstretch and came to the inside on the far turn, but could not menace in the drive SIR BLASKER had no excuse. WARY MARY caught tired horses. CANTEEN LAD quit. The others were never prominent. Attendance, 7,653; Total Mutuel Pool, 25,822.
