Morris; bred by Valdina Farms, Inc. WENT TO POST-5:58. OFF AT 5:58 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. BRAZIL, quickest to begin, was taken off the early pace and rated until rounding the final turn, then came on to dispose of FANDANGO in the final sixteenth. The latter was rated well off the early pace, began improving position midway of the final turn, assumed command rounding the final turn, then gave way to the winner in the late stages. HIGH PEAK assumed a prominent position early, was well rated, but was no match for the top pair in the final drive. OOTEM raced far back early, then closed a big gap in the final half mile. DARTEN was rushed into a long early lead, then gave way badly in the final five furlongs. FORGOTTEN ALLY had no excuse.
