Phalanx Going to Delaware For Engagement in Sussex DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., May 28. The C. V. Whitney stable filled eight stalls today with a shipment of horses from New York. Trainer Sylvester Veitch plans to bring Phalanx, voted the best three-year-old of 1947, here next week and the router is expected to make his first stake start of the year in the 5,000 Sussex Handicap at a mile and a quarter on June 25.
