E. Alexandra; bred by E. P. Taylor. WENT -TO POST-4:21. OFF AT 4:22 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won-handily; second and third driving. EPIC, away fast, was under mild reserve while forcing the pace established by BOLARIS, moved into the lead approaching the half-mile pole, drew clear, then continued smartly at the close to hold SPEEDY IRISH safe. The latter, very sluggish in the early stages as usual, gradually bettered his position, closed with good energy when placed under punishment, but failed to threaten the winner at the end. FILSIS raced in close attendance of the pace from the outset, moved up gamely entering the stretch and continued gamely to the close, although tiring slightly at the end. BUNTY LINE, steadied in back of the pace, moved strongly on the final turn, but could not better his position at the end. BUNTY JEWEL made up some ground. BAY COMPANION made up ground. RAMILLION could not keep up. REGAN LAD was outrun. BOLARIS was sent into the lead at once, set a fast pace, but gegan to falter after going the first seven furlongs. ROYAL BOMBER tired. GRAYT0N TINA could not keep up. . - , .
