Investigate Doping Frauds SYDNEY, Australia, May 28 Reuters. Detectives here are investigating activities of a race track doping ring, which has been operating in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane over a long period and is said to have won many thousands of dollars. Inquiries hare not yet reached the stage where early arrests are expected, but some principals are known. Detectives have proof that some stable employes have been paid to provide opportunities to allow dope pills to be given horses. Many owners, trainers, stable hands, businessmen and chemists who have been alleged to have won large sums of money through dope frauds, have been interviewed.
