First Division of Calumet Farm String Bedded Down at Arlington Park Oval Armed, Free America and Bewitch Top Twenty-Three Head Coming From Kentucky ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, 111., June 2. — Twenty-three representatives of the Calumet Farm, headed by Armed, Free America, Fervent and Bewitch, arrived from Churchill Downs this morning and presently are housed along "Million-airs Row" at this plant, which is scheduled to begin the co-ordinated Arlington-Washington meetings of 67 days here on June 20. The entourage made the trek by van from Louisville and Ben Jones, who supervised the unloading this morning, said his charges shipped in fine condition and that most of them will be ready to compete in the numerous stakes slated during the Arlington-Washington sessions. At a later date, the eastern division of the Calumet Farm, headed by the sensationally-fast Coaltown, Citation and Wistful, will be shipped here and when this merger takes place it will represent what undoubtedly is the most formidable stable in the history of- the American turf. Aside from Armed, Free America, Fervent and Bewitch, other older horses in this mornings shipment were De Luxe, a Continued on Page Two . Others were two-year-olds, many of whom are regarded as excellent prospects.
