Shea Named Racing Secretary For Hagerstown Fair Meeting HAGERSTOWN, Md., June 2.— Matthias C. "Ty" Shea of Baltimore, Md., was today named racing secretary for the Hagerstown Fair Associations annual race meeting, which opens August 2 and closes August 13. Shea is only the tracks third racing secretary since the sport was revived here in 1929. The others were Edward J. Brennan, now general manager of Monmouth Park, and William M. Shewbridge, currently serving as steward in New Jersey. In addition to serving as racing secretary here, Shea makes up the daily race programs at Garden State Park, New Jersey and Narragansett Park. Henry Carroll will serve as assistant racing secretary, a position he holds under Shea at both Garden State and Narragansett Park tracks. 1 a -
