Williams; bred by Wheatley Stable. WENT TO POST— 5:03*. OFF AT 5:05 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. INTREPID made the pace under clever rating, saved ground much of the way and, under a stiff drive through the stretch, stalled off GLAD TIME. The latter pressed the pace in hand from the outside, headed the former rounding the stretch turn, but was not quite good enough. BEAC HBOY broke very sluggishly and was outrun to the turn, where he rallied from between horses and finished full of run. GALLALAD was well placed from the start, saved some ground, but lacked a closing rally. MICKEY DAZZLER raced evenly. RULING TIME lacked early speed and failed to reach a contending position. LAURANIA was never a serious factor. BEST EFFORT was outrun. Scratched— 75890 Alsiral, 118; 755834 Hard Facts, 118; 75368 Portentous, 118; 74320 Fox Brownfe, 113. Overweight— Miss Reckless, 1 pound.
