Dates for Five Massachusetts Fair Meetings Are Allotted SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., June 2. — The Massachusetts State Racing Commission has announced dates for five of the fair organizations that operate six-day race meetings in conjunction with their annual fairs. Weymouth Fair opens the half-mile circuit on August 15 through August 20. After a span of one weeks idleness the thoroughbreds move to Marshfield for she days, beginning August 22, and terminating on August 27. Northampton resumes the circuit on September 5, Labor Day, and continues to September 10. Brockton Fair runs from September 12 to September 17, inclusive, and the final meeting listed is that of Great Barrington, which runs September 26 through October 1. -J A request for six days of racing in con-" junction with the Middleboro Fair has been held in abeyance by the commission. Tops-field Fair, which has presented harness racing during the past two years has not as yet appjied for dates. 4
