Charles Turner Dies SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., June 2. — Charles Turner, popular racing figure of New England and Florida circuits, died suddenly last night after being removed to the Revere General Hospital. Turner, who was 53, was born in Brooklyn, N. Y., but had been living in Boston for the past 20 years. Funeral arrangements will be announced later pending the arrival of a sister from Brooklyn.
