BREAKAGE was forced to ease back on the inside of the first turn, went up on the outside on the backstretch to displace GREYTOWN, drew out under light restraint, then won under punishment. FIRE DUST made up ground steadily when called upon veered in sharply midway of the drive and finished resolutely. APROPIADO, reserved until straightened for the drive finished with a belated rush. EVENING STORY, far back early, went up between horses with a rush in the closing furlong. PREPOTENTE had no excuse. GREYTOWN was through after a half mile.
