Tide Rips Incurs Leg Injury; May Be Out for Rest of Year DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del.. June 7. — Bayard Sharps Tide Rips, winner of Saturdays Kiamensi Handicap, probably will not race again this year. X-ray pictures taken of the five-year-olds foreleg when he failed to cool out properly revealed a chipped sessamoid bone. A, stakes winner last year over this track, Tide Rips was one of the early favorites for the 5,000 added Sussex Handicap, to be run on June 25. Several horses have returned to racing after suffering injuries similar to that of Tide Rips, but only after 12 to 15 months of idleness. A five-year-old son of Battleship and Sun Flo, Tide Rips is an excellent stud prospect,
