Top Foot Posts Repeat Score at Suffolk Downs SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., June 7. — Top Foot, a four-year-old son of Sky Raider, owned by Mt. Desert Stable and ridden by apprentice Richard DeStasio, won his second straight victory at Suffolk Downs when he bested seven rivals in the sixth race today before a crowd of 13,716. A length and a half back of the winner, Fred Wyses Kilayr gained a nose decision over Joe Gavegnanos Big Reward in the six-furlong test. Following the running of the event a trophy was presented to W. E. Parker of New Bedford, Mass., owner of the Mt. Desert Stable. The large gathering applauded apprentice DeStasio, who was scoring his initial victory since serving out a Qusesny A fast track and beautiful summer weather was the order of the day for the finale of the 33-day meeting at Suffolk Downs. Backers of favorites were successful in three of the first six events and Top Foots score made it a double for the stable and trainer Lyle Whiting. In the second race. Darrell Madden, who also shared the limelight with a riding double, won with Village Beau for Mt. Desert Stable. Top Foot negotiated the six furlongs in 1:13 flat and returned a .20 mutuel pay-off. Mrs. B. F. Listers Boxie set a sizzling pace in the feature, but was closely followed by Big Reward and the ultimate winner as she made the final turn into tht stretch. Big Reward gained a slight advantage as the trio straightened away foi the final test, but Top Foot was not to bi denied and DeStasio kept the colt undei steady pressure to obtain the command in-ttfadgei
