DARK TINY was well placed between horses, went up on the rail in the drive to displace BALLA FLIGHT and drew clear. The latter lost ground while moving to the leaders going into the turn, came when clear midway of the turn and held on well, but was not good enough. HI-ETTA was well placed between horses and showed a good effort. KING ALLA, slow to begin, moved up to challenge for the lead on the turn and weakened gradually in the drive. MILL CAT was forced wide on the turn. MY FUTURE tired. DOUBLE BLITZEN had no excuse. SAM STREET was forced to lose ground on the turn. JACKS NIECE quit. ATREBLA stumbled at the start, moved up gamely and weakened as if short of a top effort. FREE TRANSIT was outrun. SALA LOU had no excuse. ARABS FANCY and SOHELPME quit. LITTLE AUD saved ground while a sharp contender, forged through on the rail in the closing sixteenth and wore down BETTER BUY. The latter did not display his usual early speed, went into command with a rush when called upon and drew clear, then faltered near the end. FOSTERS PRIDE trailed on the backstretch, then, with a belated bid, finished resolutely on the inside. THANK YOU SIR had no mishap. MARTIN WHELAN and FOXEY ROSE gave way in the drive. ALSABS DAY, away fast, lacked speed in the early stages, saved ground oh the turn, went up on the outside to challenge MISS STONE and drew clear in the closing stages. The latter lost some ground in the opening stages, went into the lead between calls in the stretch, but faltered in the closing 30 yards. CHALL AMAZE was best of the others. DIELLE was unhurried early and should improve when sent a longer distance. SISTER CORA quit. VOLCANIC, away fast, was allowed to drop back in the opening quarter while saving ground, was taken to the outside for the drive, disposed of the leaders and lasted over CLEVELANDER. The latter trailed in the opening stages, lost some ground improving position and closed stoutly. BULLISH, taken back under hard restraint early, went up between horses in the drive with a rush. HIGH SHINE reached the lead briefly in the stretch and faltered near the end. DANADA CAPT. gave way in the closing furlong. FIRST WHIRL had no excuse. BEST PROSPECT quit.
