Luce Grounded at Detroit FAIR GROUNDS, Detroit, Mich., June 7. — The stewards of the Michigan Racing Association issued the following ruling here today: "Jockey S. Luce is suspended 30 days, effective June 4, through July 8, for assaulting another jockey twice and a stable foreman after dismounting from the sixth race June 3. Luce later attempted to start a fight in the jockey room, and used offensive language when called before the stewards."
