Drayton Motor City Visitor FAIR GROUNDS, Detroit, Mich., June 9. — Spencer J. Drayton, president of the Thoroughbred Racing Protective Bureau and the secretary of the Thoroughbred Racing Association of the United States, arrived today and he will remain for several days of the Motor City sport. While here Drayton will confer with members of the local TRPB staff and officials of the Michigan Racing Association. After his Detroit visit, Drayton plans to swing west and, later in the month will go to Omaha, Neb., where the Ak-Sar-Ben 1949 meeting is now in progress. The Cornhushker State track is a member organization of the TRA.
