COCK CROW raced nearest the winner after the break, was beaten when the former crossed to the inside in the stretch and could not menace the winner, although easily best of the others. BONNIE DONNIE was outrun. OCAVVY made a mild bid approaching the stretch, then faltered. JOY ROAD could not keep up. BADLY BROKE began alertly, but failed to stay. KINGS LASSIE broke sluggishly. CRESSUE raced wide. FOXFLOSS, fractious at the post, began well, but dropped far back immediately after the break. REGULARITY, never far back and well ridden, responded to brisk urging through the stretch and wore down ALLDEPENDS in the last sixteenth. ALLDEPENDS, a keen factor from the outset, reached the lead when settled for the drive, but was unable to hold the winner. VICTOR NANCE bore to the inside immediately after the break, raced prominently throughout, but could not overtake the leaders when set down in the drive. CAN STEP lacked early speed, but finished well. DELFEB made the pace for three-quarters, then gave way. TIGER AGE never was prominent. MARLBORO JOE raced wide. FLOWING OIL could not keep up. BROWN BROCADE, never far back, finished willingly under bris.k. urging, but could not reach the winner. MAD HARE moved up boldly entering the stretch, but could not reach the leaders in the drive. JADEITE assumed command early, made the pace until inside the stretch, then faltered. SAPPHIRE tired after racing prominently to the final furlong. DREAMY KAREN was outrun. WILEY FOX raced wide. VALUTA began sluggishly and raced greenly. DACCORD raced wide throughout. LADY SOPHIA could not keep up. AUNT DORA, on the outside throughout, was never a serious factor. GAY MELODY was done early. VERAGEL, outrun to the last three-eighths, closed willingly under urging, but could not reach the winner, although much the best of the others. CALLED ON, on the outside throughout, failed to respond when set down through the stretch. BAR POOL tired after racing prominently to the stretch. TOWN MAN, knocked back immediaely after the start, failed to recover. DANDY PETE failed to stay after showing early speed. MAGIC MARGIN quit after going a half mile. HENNY PENNY, away fast and never far back, reached the lead entering the stretch - and continued willingly, but could not withstand the winner. MOLDY, a keen factor from the start, went to the front between calls in the stretch, but faltered nearing the finish. SNIFF SNIFF could not better her position when set down in the drive.. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. BLUE SEAL, forwardly placed from the start and well ridden, responded willingly when set down through the stertch and wore down CLEAN SLATE in the last sixteenth. CLEAN SLATE went to the front at the start, made the pace until inside the stretch under occasional urging and held on determinedly, but could not withstand the winner. ETERNAL BOMB, away slowly and on the outside throughout, could not get to the leaders when hard ridden through the stretch. ROSE BED, in close quarters to the upper turn, was sent to the outside nearing the stretch, but could not better her position during the drive. McCOSH could not keep up after showing early speed. BALMORAL was through early. BRIGHT STEEL failed to stay after racing prominently to the upper turn and had a rough trip. LOW TENSION, a sharp factor from the start, went to the front entering the stretch, gave way momentarily to SANTA ROSEANNA between calls during the drive, then came again and held the latter safe during the late stages. SANTA ROSEANNA, in hand to the final quarter, was sent to the outside for the stretch run and, after reaching the lead between calls, could not hold the winner. SIR MONTE was unable to threaten the leaders when hard ridden through the stretch. AGRARIAN SON, on the outside throughout, failed to respond when set down in the stretch. POLONIUS was outrun.
