Riders and Winners of Past Belmont Winners Feted BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., June 9. — The only disagreement at the luncheon for riders and trainers of past Belmont winners held yesterday came when Roscoe Troxler, Earl Sande and Johnny Loftus could not agree on the color of .some filly that raced in 1922. Mr. Fitz acted as chief greeter. He indicated his youth when he hailed Troxler with, "Here comes old man Troxler." George Odom was distinct in that he rode Delhi to victory in 1904 and trained Pasteurized for his score in 1938. Mr. Fitz and Sande each have five winners to their credits. Sande rode five, while Mr. Fitz trained an equal number. Charlie Miller, who rode Pillory in 1922, came with a prepared script which included the statement that winning the Belmont was the greatest honor that could occur in any jockeys life.
