; - Twelve Sprinters In Seaford Purse Isa, Superb Donna, Tacaro Briar and Erigeron Named For Delaware Top Offering DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 9. — The Seaford Purse, allowance test for non-winners of a race other than claiming features tomorrows attractive program at this course, and 12 steady sprinters have been named to compete. The field comprises the following speedsters: Brookfield Farms Isa, Rengas Stables Superb Donna, Robert L. Hall-, Jr.s, Tacaro Briar, Grandview Stables Erigeron, S. C. Mikells Going Airy, Brookmeade Stables Irrawaddy, Mrs. Elmer Truemans Sendoff, Mrs. J. D. S. Colemans Certified, Mrs. W. W. Vaughns Briar White, J. C. Ellis Prince Aethel, S. E. Wilson, Jr.s, Torello and Walter S. Homes Cunning Miss. Isa, a four-year-old Eight Thirty filly, will be making her second start of the year, but has worked in a manner suggesting that she has attained peak form. Winner of the Mermaid Handicap at the Seashore course last season, Isa turned in five winning efforts in 10 starts, earning 8,500. In her lone start this season, the Brookfield lass showed her usual speed, but showed tendency to bear out all the way and finished along the outside fence. She was ridden by an apprentice that afternoon, but will have the services of a full-fledged rider in the Seaford, Bobbie Strange having been assigned the mount. Second to Winter Wheat Another mare certain to give a good account of herself tomorrow is Superb Donna, who in her last race was second to Whiter Wheat, generally regarded as the top mare at this meeting. That was her first appearance under silks since having been bred to the young stallion, Saggy. Tacaro Briar will be giving the aforementioned mares a stern battle through the final furlong. Always a steady performer, Tacaro Briar was third in his most recent local star, finishing three lengths behind Three Dots and Equibit, who finished in a dead heat for top money. Erigeron is a speed merchant, but has been faint-hearted on numerous occasions. His local record is far from impressive, but a horse with Erigerons speed is eligible to beat topnotchers if able to steal away from from his opposition in the early stages. In his last race Erigeron was about nine lengths behind Three Dots and Equibit, with Irrawaddy an additional three lengths back. Crispin Oglebays Wind Break, a colt by Bull Lea, who cost his owner 5,000 as a yearling, will make his second appearance under silks in tomorrows fourth race, a five-furlong dash. Recent clever winners in the field are Bobanet Stables Attention Mark, Mrs. Walter M. Jeffords Post Card and Cedar Farms Halter.
