KOPLA, under restraint while in front through the first half, drew clear when roused mildly in the stretch and retained a commanding advantage without pressure. RESOJET improved his position nicely, but could not menace the top one. RADEC, forwardly placed from the start, lacked a rally. NEED LUCK faltered after pressing the pace of the winner to midstretch. PINE VISION showed an even effort. ALEMANNIA could not threaten while rallying mildly. INNERSOLE weakened. PROBLEM CHILD flattened out early. BLACK GOODS was not hurried when slow to settle into stride, responded from the outside to good urging, assumed command Just inside the furlong pole and was mildly urged to hold SCARLET THORN safe. The latter, outrun early, closed well along* the inside. LITTLE SHREW raced Just off the pace and failed to respond. PALAU held a commanding lead while hard held, but flattened out. THE MATER, far superior to her opposition, was taken up sharply leaving the three-eighths pole, circled the field when settled into stride and won easily. KITTYHAWK raced on the outside and forwardly from the start and was easily best of the others. RISKABULE caught tired horses after being slow to settle into stride. BEST BLUE raced evenly without mishap. OUR HOSTESS vied for the lead to the stretch and faltered badly. SHES GOT IT showed nothing. FLIRTY MISS broke tardily and was bothered after being rushed early. ROSE SAND quit badly after showing good speed. The latter improved his position steadily and was getting to the top one. JERRYS BEST was unhurried when unable to outrun MARGARET E., displaced that one when ready, but weakened.
