Senate Passes Dog Bill SPRINGPTEIiD, 111., June 9.— The Senate yesterday passed a bill to regulate, license and tax greyhound racing in Illinois and legalize pari-mutuel dog racing betting. The bill passed, 37 to 5, and went to the House. Sponsors claim enactment would bring the state millions of dollars annually.
