Hogan Turns in 32, Two Under Par, in Greenbrier Tournament WHITE • SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va., May 5 UP. — Ben Hogan continued his brilliant stroking through the first nine holes of the second round of the Greenbrier Open Golf tournament today as he turned in a 32, two under par. Hogan, the first round leader with a six-under par 64, drew his first bogey of the tourney when he took a four on the par Ihree 220-yard third hole. However, he reached the turn with three birdies. Sam Snead and Henry Ransom carded 34s on the first nine. They tied for second in the opening round with 66s and thus fell four strokes back of Hogan at the turn.
