Robinson and Villemain To Meet in Philadelphia Matched for Fifteen-Rounder, Promoter Phil Glassman States * PHILADELPHIA, Pa., May 5 — UP. — Welterweight champion Ray Robinson- and French middleweight Robert Villemain will meet in a 15 -round bout here June 5, promoter Phil Glassman announced today. Glassman said Villemain signed a contract for the long-awaited fight this morning and that Robinson accepted terms by telegram "which has the force of a signed agreement in the eyes of all boxing commissions." Under the terms, each fighter will receive a guaranteed purse of 5,000 with the privilege of 30 per cent of the net gate receipts. Robinson and Villemain are recognized by the National Boxing Association as outstanding contenders for Jake LaMottas middleweight crown.
