REBORN, away sluggishly and behind horses until the final turn, forced a passage entering the stretch, then swiftly wore down the leaders from the outside and won going away. GAY TEN dashed into a long lead at once, appeared safely in front entering the last stages, but weakened and could not resist the winner. JALEEN was under steady pressure while in closest attendance tc the pace, then drifted out while tiring near the end. LARRY DOOLEY, in close quarters on the far turn, came between horses and finished well. HEARTH MOUSE lost ground on the outside and tired IN MY BONES was outrun. SIR SIDNEY raced closest to the -ESflcAnA *! °J,tS,de- !5"lSted command °" the stretcn turn, then continued evenly under- strong urging ROSEADA, hard pressed to secure a forward position early, was closing gamely through the last sixteenth when she suddenly ducked to the inside and had to be straightened, then narrowly bested PROMISING The latter showed the most early speed and held on well after being displaced for the stretch run LADY ADVOCATE came to the extreme outside with a late rally. CEDAR LOCK rushed forward after a slew beginning then occasionally lacked clear racing room and finished evenly. BUSY INDIAN had speed in spots. PRY PAT was Overweight— Tricia Fiske, 2 pounds. SUN BAHRAM was closer to the early pace than usu?.l under light urging, rapidly moved to the leaders from the outside on the final turn and drew out through the stretch under pressure. CROWN ME was snugly restrained while saving ground and showing th-» most speed, could not stay with the winner in the drive, but lasted to be clear of the others. APACHICO, in hand while outrun and trailing for a half-mile, closed fast in the stretch drive. GOLDEN BULL closely pressed the pace for six furlongs and faltered. FIGHTING FLEET tired. TARPORT KID, away slowly, had t: be taken in hand while behind horses rounding the far turn, came through on the inside entering the stretch and rapidly wore down MYRMIDON, then lugged in badly, but was kept straight under excellent hanadling and drew clear. MYRMIDON saved ground setting the pace, shook free of SAND RUN after five furlongs, but then could not hold the winner, although finishing well. JITTERS finished well to best the others. UP GRADE saved ground, made a mild bid on the stretch turn and weakened. CHILCAT tired. SAND RUN raced slightly wide, then bore out while tiring on the final turn.
