Morris Stake Trot Run In Two Divisions Tonight Boyne Hanover and Kaerl Worthy Head Respective Ends at Aurora AURORA DOWNS, Aurora, 111., May 15. — The Morris Stake Trot, a 20 Class early closing event, attracted 19 entries and was divided into two divisions to be raced at Aurora Downs Wednesday night. The first division, slated to go postward as the fifth and eighth races, finds Mari- ; gold Stables Boyne Hanover as the trotter to beat for top purse money. t In five starts, the four-year-old Worthy Boy brown horse, captured four straight , before being beaten by Alama B. Wednes-day night he will find Alama B. absent , from the picture and in an ideal position to start on another win skein. Boyne Hanovers division is comprised of Lucia, Our Own Mill Mary, Dusty Lotus, . Sir Guy June, Agilite, Little Duffy, Smoky , Log Key and Lesota Key. However, the second divisions brings to- ] gether one of the toughest trotting fields j of the season. In this set, posted as the sixth and ninth races on the card, there is 1 Kaerl Worthy, Delnora Hanover, Key West, Potomac Lad, Gay Diversion, Taylors , Point, Steven R., Burton Swan, Mitetell , and Brinker. Kaerl Worthy, owned by Delbert E. Smith, Young American, Ind., has yet to j suffer defeat m three outings this meeting. • The Jake Mahoney-trained and piloted , four-year-old Worthy Boy horse is trotting k well and is on his way toward one of his best seasons. | Then there is Olen Humphres Key West, winner of his last two trips and out of the money in but one race in four this meeting. Delnora Hanover and Taylors Point l each have entered the winners circle this * meeting while Earl Pierces Brinker will be making his initial start of the 1951 cam- paign. c In addition to the stake trot, race secre- * tary Ted Leonard has carded two Illinois- owned or bred paces, the first going as ■ part of the daily double while the other * is listed as the seventh race. The seventh brings together eight side- wheelers which are so evenly matched that railbirds find it difficult to select a favorite. 1 The field consists of Maxine Cadh, Holly-rood Hanover, Little Jester, Chief Taylor, Lincoln Cash, Dalemont, Quick Cash and 3 Martha C. Dalemont annexed his last start t in 215 Friday night and has won two trips I in four starts to date at the Downs.
