To Extend Mexico City Meet HIPODROMO DE LAS AMERICAS, Mexico, D. F., May 15. — The Mexico City racing season, which was scheduled to close June 3, has been tentatively extended to July 1 under an agreement between the Hipodromo Association and the Mexican Horsemens Association, manager Jo Gross man announced. In the event the rainy season begins earlier than usual, the extension may be shortened. Racing will be held three days a week during the extension, meaning the discontinuance of the Wednesday programs. Rains during the last three weeks failed to materially affect the racing strip. Since recent repairs, the track has held up remarkably well.
