The latter slipped through along the inside and turned in a good effort. SUPROGRAPH well placed on the outside, was unable to menace. EASTON AIR closed steadily under late pressure. WISE MAHM0UD saved ground to no avail. VILLAGE BEAU lacked early speed. SILVER REWARD was forced to take up on the far turn HENRY PAYNE tired. GREAT MORNING quit. ESTA VEZ showed nothing. NIGHT AGAIN, slow to begin moved rapidly on the outside to gain contention, then went evenly. ESPEDECO was under stout pressure, but failed to gain in the stretch. JOE TOWN broke well and showed an even effort. PAPA DON lacked early foot SEVEN PASSES was never prominent. HATTIES GIFT showed nothing. HARPOOT weakened. ANDYS GLORY, hard held to remain off the pace, was wide on the turns and had to be much the best to outfinish PLATFORM. The latter, forwardly placed under steadying restraint, moved into command when roused, drifted out while tiring and just failed to last. FAIR APPRAISAL, sluggish in the early stages, saved ground, but was unable to menace. AFTERWARDS established the pace for seven furlonqs before weakening. SHOTRAL and TUBBY B. were never prominent. CANIS MAJOR saved ground early, was in close attendance to the leader for six furlongs, moved into command when roused, served under pressure after being straightened in the stretch, then settled down and held STAR OF DUBLIN safe. The latter was eased to the outside down the backstretch, moved into contention on the far turn, rallied under pressure, but was not good enough. BENJOMIKE closed well. KINGFISH had no mishap. LAZY PAT quit. SHADOWS END was in trouble repeatedly. BELIEVE-IN-ME, urged to stay close to the early pace, flattened out in the late stages. Overweight— Benjomike, 1 pound.
