SENOR-HYGRO was immediately sent | to the front, increased his advantage under mild urging and won with something left. STAR SPOT was energetically hustled while prominently placed, then finished determinedly to be clear of the others. ANTE FEE raced closest to the pace and weakened. K0NTINU, never far back, was taken to the outside on the turns, made a mild bid and tired. CHITLIN SWITCH was well placed and saving ground, but lacked courage for the drive. PERCHAN saved ground and improved position from a slow beginning. ISLE OF PEACE could not keep up early. BUDDIE SWEEP was bumped by ISLE OF PEACE on the stretch turn. B0L0 JOAN quit. STEPCHILD, vigorously hustled from the start, shook free of KALLUKI after a quarter mile, then steadily drew into a long lead when being continuously urged. KALLUKI, unable to stay with the winner, weakened in the drive, but lasted to finish clear of ROSE POLL. The latter, slow to reach stride, drove between horses in the-stretch run and closed fast. ON GUARD was well placed and appeared a threat on the final turn, but then weakened. DIAMOND HEAD appeared sore in the post parade, lacked speed and bested tiring horses. LANDSEAIR raced true while showing high speed from the beginning, was strongly roused to dispose of VANTAGE entering the stretch, then opened a long advantage while winning easily. KINGS QUEST rushed to the leaders after the start, could not keep up on the turns, but finished well. OUR COOKIE steadily improved his position while saving ground and finished gamely. NATE HERZFELD was a forward factor and weakened. VANTAGE vied for the lead for a half mile, then faltered badly. VILLAGER, away slowly, lost ground while racing on the outside of horses and tired. WINGY raced behind the first flight, came between horses when punished and was up at the end to best CURRENT NEWS. The latter lost ground j racing on the outside, never was far back and finished determinedly. TITANS MATCH had the early speed, 1 could not stay with the winner, but held on better than usual in the drive. SAND RUN made up distance late. JOY C, lacking clear racing room early, lacked a raHy. FATHER LINK, lightly steadied while close to the pace on the outside, was hard urged for the stretch run and, after disposing of JUNGLE FEAST, quickly drew clear. SIR SWEEP obtained a clear early lead from the inside, readily gave way when headed on the stretch turn, but responded well for the finish and bested JUNGLE FEAST. The latter gained a momentary lead between calls in the drive, but faltered under punishment. HEAD STREAM was hard hustled while on the inside and behind the first flight and weakened gradually. PLAY TOY could not match the speed of the winner, gradually weakened after a quarter mile, but held on tenaciously to best THE PINCHER. The latter began fast, but could not stay with the top pair and then finished evenly while drifting out. CACIQUE raced evenly. JOINER was taken up at the start.
