Chrysler, Jr. WENT TO POST-6:32. OFF AT 6:32 EASTERN STANDARD TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. BLUE BADGE, showing marked improvement over his recent start, was sent to the front at once, made the pace to the stretch under steady rating, then responded willingly when set down for the drive and held FRIENDLY SANDS safe. The latter saved ground while in hand to the last three-eighths, was sent to the middle of the track for the drive and finished fast, but could not get to the winner. CHIEF JOHN 0., forwardly placed throughout, held on well in a good effort NITRO FIRE raced prominently from the start, but was weakly handled during the stretch run. MIVAL could not better her position when hard urged during the drive. CHANCELOT tired after showing early speed. BLEWSO was outrun. BOLD KING was far back throughout, giving a dull effort. NONPAREIL showed nothing. Scratched— 31385 Airdrome, 115. Overweight— Friendly Sands, 2 pounds; Mival, 1; Chancelot, 1. j* Attendance, 7,698; Total Mutuel Pool, 82,728.
