Michigan Trot Ruling DETROIT, Mich., June 20. — Michigan racing commissioner Frederick E. Harris issued the following ruling yesterday: "A laboratory analysis of the urine of the horse, Flowing Boga, winner of the second race at Northville Downs, June 13, 1951, disclosed the presence of a drug of the nature of amphetamine. The owner, Bert Deters, of Grandorf, Ohio, and driver-trainer Sylvester Smith, of Northville, Mich., were present at the hearing conducted in the office of the Michigan Racing Commission. "Upon the completion of this hearing, * the Michigan Racing Commission rules that owner Bert Deters, and trainer-driver Sylvester Smith are ruled off for a period of sixty 60 days from June 13, 1951; and that the horse, Flowing Boga, shall be ineligible to race for a period of sixty 60 days from June 13, 1951."
