FRANK MUNNS, forced to take up sharply when in close quarters on the far turn, recovered gamely to reach the lead on the inside in the stretch, then withstood GAYHEUSH. The latter finished with good courage in a sharp effort. CLOVER MISS closed resolutely and was getting to the leaders. DA DO. outrun early, failed to make up appreciable ground. CLOY raced wide. BIG BUSTER was unable to keep up. MARK ONIGHT was always outrun. COINCIDENT was eliminated when compelled to take up sharply inside the furlong marker. ATOMIC ENERGY was through after six furlongs.
