MYSTIC SONG was kept within striking distance of the leaders while saving ground, came to the outside entering the stretch, responded smartly to take command and was drawing out. LORD GRAIL, slow to settle into best stride, secured racing room along the inside and closed well through the stretch. DEBMODE forced the pace, gained a short lead, then weakened. BONAVENTURE flattened out after a brief challenge. BAYAL, forwardly placed, failed to respond to late urging. MARKET HILL showed nothing. BEDA BULL weakened. MISS PYRAMID was never prominent. IF COMING worked her way up on the outside, responded to stout pressure in the stretch and was along to best RAMPAGEOUS. The latter slipped through along the inside to gain the lead, then faltered. ULA came up along the inside to take command befcre a quarter mile, saved ground and held on stubbornly. SOCIAL SIDE passed tiring horses. LADY DELL lacked early speed. THIS FAR was sent between horses to be near the early pace, then weakened. JEAN METER tired ANNAR went well for a half mile. MEZZANINE quit. RUDYS STAR was never prominent. HANDIWORK moved up gradually on the outside and was going stoutly at the finish. INLET MISS forced the pace and held on gamely. MISS HUETT showed good .speed from the barrier, established the pace until the final sixteenth, then weakened. WOLFCAMP lacked ?. closing rally. ALL RICHER was unable to keep up. REALTOR broke alertly, dropped back, then rallied when placed under late pressure. PRAIRIE SMOKE raced evenly. BEST PROSPECT had no mishap. MESMERIZED was outrun. The latter, a trailer to the far turn, came to the outside, was forced to lose ground, responded to pressure and was catching the winner. BELRATE closed stoutly from off the pace. SIAMESE improved position gradually, came to the outside, then flattened out. WONDER WHY was forced to take up sharply nearing the final turn. AIR GEE passed tiring horses. VIRGINIA R. W, weakened.
