Trainer Herb Fisher, recently kicked by one of his charges, has recovered suffi- ciently enough to be back on the job. The injured knee is still protected by bandages. The six head, owned by C. T. Chenery and R. M. Casey, will be handled at Suf- folk Downs by trainer George Casey. Trainer Rollie Shepp has fully recovered from his illness and has arrived at Suffolk Downs to take over his duties with the River Divide Stable which was being handled by Harold Young. Owner A. Ersoff has shipped Prepotente and Little Tony, a pair of useful platers, to Suffolk Downs and they will be han-. died by trainer Carl Horvath. Jockey Francis E. Clayton has severed his connections as contract rider for O. L. Foster and plans to ride free lance for the duration of the current meeting. The parting was on amicable terms. Clayton, who is a lightweight veteran, has been hampered in accepting mounts due to his employers use of the apprentice allowance on the majority of the large menage under supervision of Foster. Hard Held has proved a bargain claim for Harry Barnett who picked him up for ,500 at Gulfstream Park this past winter. Hard Held has won three in a row at Suffolk and finished second in his only other start at the East Boston oval. Mariano Bucolo has purchased Sailed Away and Angel Food from the Greentree Stable. The juveniles will be shipped here and turned over to trainer W. H. Klepach. Trainer O. D. Clelland, acting for Mrs. J. H. Branham, disposed of Hierapolis to Ralph Lowe and Clays Choice to Mrs. A. R. Smith at private terms. O. L. Foster was the purchasing agent. Glenn Felkner has registered Reproduction and Risking. The pair came here from ! New York in charge of W. A. Gray.
