WENT TO POST-2:04. OFF AT 2:05 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won ridden out; second and third driving. ANALII, hard held while following the early pace, took the overland route while rallying and, after putting away BELLISAN in the early, stretch, drew clear under mild urging. BELLISAN, unhurried early, responded willingly, but was no match for the winner. PADDOCK ACRES alternated with STRADDLE in setting the pace and gave way through the stretch. SHADOW SHOT caught tired horses through the final quarter. EN ROUTE loomed a threat after a mile and weakened. STRADDLE faltered badly after duelling for the lead. ABBE BOY showed nothing. BAGGAGE BOY, sluggish during the early stages, rallied from the outside to assume command, then drew clear in the final sixteenth. KNIGHTS REWARD raced on the outside while disposing of GOYAS PASS, but was no match for the winner in the final test. GOYAS PASS faltered after being hard Dressed for the lead into the stretch. OCEAN BREEZE was crowded into the rail and came back a bit gimpy. EAST BAY was unable to keep up early and faltered. TIME FOR FUN weakened. CONSUS displayed good early speed and weakened. MERRY MOUNT, rushed into contention after breaking tardily, quit badly. Scratched— 28110 Roman Rocket, 108. Overweight— Meadow Pass, 4 pounds. PHIBLANT, hard held while fencing well early, engaged the leader going into the backstretch the final time, dropped back when outjumped by GENANCOKE at the thirteenth fence, then came on to easily outfinish his rival. GENANCOKE held a slight lead through the first mile, held on gamely until the final turn and weakened. GRANDTRAP made a very bad landing at the second jump, recovered to jump steadily until the final fence and, after falling at that point, was remounted and finished the course. FLOATING ISLE lost stirrups and was pulled up after the eighth jump. BOOM BOOM fell at the sixth jump. Scratched— 31101a Page County, 130. KING MOWLEE, prominent early without being rushed, responded to urging through the stretch and outfinished YES YOU. The latter raced forwardly while under restraint, but drifted out badly through the stretchy ENDURABLE was slow to respond, and closed with good energy. BLUE ROCKET set the pace under rating, but gave way in the final furlong. MILLDALE lacked a menacing rally. LARAN failed to threaten. RARE MINERAL displayed speed, but could not keep up. ARCAVE showed improvement. ROYAL GOVERNOR, : hard held for six furlongs, was just starting his move, but was stopped in his tracks when BIT 0 FATE came J off the rail. KENSINGTON LAD raced forwardly placed to the stretch and weakened. ADILE, taken under stout restraint early, showed nothing. There was no action taken following an inquiry by the stewards. CRICKET reached the leaders from the outside nearing the stretch ana, after being carried wide, weakened. BUTLER set the pace and faltered. BLAZING POMP was outrun. Scratched— 31618 King Pomp, 110. MIDYEAR responded to pressure, but could not stay with the winner in the drive. SYLVAN ROCK assumed command in the run to the first turn, was nicely rated, but gave way. WAR PHAR, hard held while forwardly placed, weakened and drifted out. UNIFICATION, shuffled back early, reached contention and weakened. GORGEOUS REDED was through early. CARDINAL LADY quit.
