Race for Leading Riding Honors Close at Ascot ASCOT PARK, Cuyahoga, Falls, Ohio, June 20. — The race for leading honors among the jockeys at this meeting continues to be a close one. Jockey F. Kratz has ridden 16 winners during the first 15 days. B. Taylor has 15, and M. Little and R. L. Hightshoe have 11 each. If apprentice rider D. Hartley continues at the rate he has been going, it is quite likely that he will lead the "bug" boys. Although only here a few days, he has already ridden four winners. D. Robertson, who trains one of the larger public stables here, as well as some of his own charges, has first call on the lads services. It was while aboard two of the Robertson-trained campaigners that Hartley scored on yesterdays program.
