Fifteen Lost Renewals Found PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 16.— Fifteen Preakness renewals were run from 1894 until 1908 at the Gravesend course of the Brooklyn Jockey Club. This fact came to light a few years ago when David P. Woods of the Maryland Jockey Club, came across some archives which somehow had escaped the big Baltimore fire just after the turn of the century, a fire which destroyed most of the files of the Maryland Jockey Club.
