Champagne in Auto Accident PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 16.— Jockey Gerald Champagne, who had been riding at Pimlico, was forced to postpone a trip to Detroit for the Michigan Racing Association meeting when his car and trailer were involved in an accident on the Baltimore-Washington Boulevard, shortly after he had left Laurel. The trailer jack-knifed on a bend and both it and Champagnes car were badly damaged. The rider escaped injury and Mrs. Champagne suffered only slight cuts.
