REAL BROTHER, with the first flight from the start, moved up stoutly in the final furlong to dispose of the leaders and drew clear. CORRECTION swerved out at the start, was forwardly placed throughout and showed a good effort. FERRYMAN forced his way up between horses in the drive. PRlNCE TIP broke sluggishly, then closed impressively while going between horses. LORD THROTTLE lacked a rally. BERNLEY swerved through the stretch. GOLDEN GRIP weakened. VALENCIANO had speed and tired, as did TOP ATTRACTION. BINGLE pressed the pace and gave way in the final furlong. CROSSCUT swerved through the stretch. BRIGHT PASS saved ground while lacking speed, came between horses when gaining best stride and finished well. SUN ROAMER, slow to begin, worked his way up steadily between horses, made a game bid in the stretch and hung. DONT STOP was slow to begin." JACK LINDER went by tired horses. ESCONDRIJO, in close pursuit of the pace from the start, took command on the final turn, shook off SOLAR COUNT in the final run and was placed in hand in the concluding strides. SOLAR COUNT, nicely rated in the early stages, went up to challenge boldly at the final hurdle, but was not good enough. ESCARP faltered after vying for command early. HIGH DIVE, on the outside throughout, gradually picked up the pacemaker, responded to good pressure and was best in the drive. OUT POINT was restrained the first half mile, skirted the rail to draw into closer contention, but lacked real power. HOMELY DUKE set an even pace without opposition, came slightly wide on the final turn, but was net good enough. COLONY DATE had no excuse. KADER was overmatched and quit. ANCIENT CITY was under pressure to remain with the leaders, assumed a short lead between calls as SAN-JO tired, but could not resist the winner. POTPOURRI was sluggish in the opening stages, but was going strongly at the finish. REFEREE had. no mishap. SAN-JO showed his usual brisk speed, but quit badly in the final sixteenth. HUSHABY BABY dropped back just after the start and trailed most of the opening quarter mile, found room between horses to improve position, came out for the drive and displaced MOHDUMA in the late stages. The latter, reserved on the outside for a half mile, moved up strongly to gain command and drew but in the stretch, held on gamely until the end, but could not resist the top one. WONDERFUL YOU saved gynd while within striking distance and Just lasted for third. HARLEM MAID, on the rail early, carfie out when clear for the drive and closed resolutely. DALAL came between tired horses with a belated bid. RUDDY BELLE went well for six furlongs and gave way, as did LANCASTER LADY. RECESS showed nothing. BRECHIN made the pace and tired badly in the final quarter mile. PLACE CARD was through after a half mife. AMPOLA, prominent on the outside, quit. SEVENTH RACE 6 FURLONGS. REQUISITION dashed up to join BR00KRIDGE after a quarter mile, put him away in the early stretch, but was no match for the winner. ANCESTOR was saved on the inside, but lacked a closing spurt. ARMAGH was taken back from the early pace, but failed to rally when urged. FREEDOM BELL was never a serious threat. BROOKRIDGE displayed keen early speed, but stopped badly when headed.
