R. .-. 5.00 1.50 Winner— Br. f; by Harmony Now— Registerite, by High Cloud, trained by C. Thornton; bred by C. Thornton. WENT TO POST-5:27. OFF AT 5:27 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. REGISTER NOW raced nearest WHITE BOOTS after the start, raced the latter into defeat after entering the stretch, then held FOXPOISE safe. FOXPOISE, away slowly, steadily worked way forward after the break, lacked racing room during the final furlong and, taken out to the middle of the track, finished fast when clear, but could not overtake the winner. MR. R. moved up boldly entering the stretch, reached the lead between calls when near the finish, but swerved while tiring and could not retain the advantage. WHITE BOOTS assumed command at once, made the pace until inside the stretch, but weakened when challenged by REGISTER NOW. NOBLE IDEA lacked early speed and was never dangerous. BIG HERALDER could not keep up. PANGO PANGO was outrun. MISS NAP began alertly, but failed to stay... Corrected weight— Pango Pango, 116. Attendance, 10,000 Estimated; Total Mutuel Pool, 14,945.
