Eight Head Bring Only ,125 at Paddock Sale CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky„ May 16. — Buyers were noticeable by their absence yesterday morning at Churchill when eight horses were sold at auction. After much pleading, the eight went for ,125, which figures at an average of 40 and some change. Top price of 00 was paid for See Top, a four-year-old bay gelding offered by C. C. Norman. The purchaser was C. Hayre, of Dayton, Ohio. Sandy Paniello, Louisville attorney, purchased Danada Red from J. Mallia for 50. Dr. Frank Durham gave 50 for Wing Tint, a bay filly, and 5 for Gallant Sallie, a chestnut filly. Three mares offered by W. G. Reynolds failed to attract bids.
