Long-Bell Stable to Make Debut at Hollywood Park HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif-May 17.— The Long-Bell Stable soon will be introduced to racing. This new establishment represents a partnership composed of Vance Longden, son of jockey Johnny Longden; Max Bell, Calgary publisher; Frank McMahon, lieutenant governor, of Alberta, and Wilder Ripley, Calgary businessman. The Australian importations Consider and Wandering Ways form the nucleus of the Long-Bell Stable which will be expanded from time to time. Bell recently purchased the horse Indian Hemp in England and after he fills his en-, gagement in the Epsom Derby, under the Bell silks, he will be brought to California to join the newly formed Long-Bell string.
