Horses to Watch Horses who impressed Daily Racing Form representatives as being ready to win: LINCOLN FIELDS 1 AT HAWTHORNE ANDY B. W. — Appeared a trifle short in first start after long layoff and that one should have served as the tightened. LILLY VALENTI— Was away poorly last time when ground broke out from under her at the start. Merits another chance against similar rivals. DEAR PAT— Two-year-old maiden filly should encounter but a minimum of difficulty in graduating from non-winner ranks. SOME LORD— Three-year-old has been close up in recent starts and should find suitable spot in immediate future. SLIPPER SATIN— Drop in classification is all thats needed to assure victory for this better-than-average sprinter. PRINCESS ANN— Possesses world of early speed and may forget to stop next time if properly rated. NICTOR— Hard-hitting plater has been close up in recent starts and appears ready to turn back ordinary rivals. LEGS — Disregard last which was over an extremely muddy strip. Needs fast track for best effort. PAD LOCK — Has been training cleverly and appears ready to turn back ,500 rivals. FIGHTING TIGER— Was defeated narrowest of margins in local debut. Improvement from that start is expected. MISTER PERFECT— Connections should find suitable spot for this plater in near future. BEST DOINGS— Comes from well-trained unit which sends it charges postward fit and ready. Works have been impressive. MILO — Showed a tendency to drift out slightly in latest start. CHARCO— Can. do better than latest when shuffled back during the running. AQUAMARINE — Appears capable of handling ,000 claiming juveniles. JUNE TIME— Did not turn in a true effort in recent appearance. Should improve off that outing.. TIDEWATER— Has an abundance of speed. Tired when performing on a muddy track recently. A dry strip is wanted. BYNG— An imported hurdler who appeared short of peak form in debut here. BLUE W.— Finished second in. a mile try here recently. Should not be long in earning a purse. BENHADAR — This nine-year-old just missed in a route try. Deserves another chance competing with the same brand of claiming company. DARK FAVORITE — This six-year-old mare has been training kindly. May have needed first outing this year to reach top form. MANY ISLANDS — Should earn brackets when asked to compete at a mile or longer. ADA C. — A cheap sort but she usually pays lier way and could score before, this meeting ends. QUIZ SONG— Finished second in a sharp effort to Boot All. A slight drop in company should, provide a tally. ACEFULL— Has schooled kindly for debut over the infield course and could register at first asking. DETROIT ROMAN JEAN— Speedy two-year-old filly raced smartly in Kentucky, and due for early visit?1 to winners ring. BULLET CEE— Hard-hitting route performer always goes well in Michigan and recently breezed six furlongs in 1:16%. RESORT— Useful middle distance racer prefers fast track at mile or over and belongs with ,000 company. DLXVILLE— Quick three-year-old colt was beaten by Little Doc at Louisville and should improve off that race. SCRIPTWRITER — Wall two-year-old-maiden*looked good in Kentucky engagements and is ready for graduation. MIO LIPS — Consistent gelding can handle mile or over on any type track when matched with ,000 rivals. LOCKS— McDermott gelding has good turn of speed and is dangerous when dropped in with ,500 sprinters. TRAVELER — Henry Forrest star always earns his share of purses wherever he goes and prefers six furlongs and fast track for best effort. LIEBESKIND— One of the mainstays of the Wellman stable and always gives good performance against 000 platers. OUR KITE — Useful three-year-old is shade off top horses but Henry Forrest may find a suitable spot. DUKES GAL — Once classy mare is surprising the clocking brigade with her sparkling trials. NOTTS FOREST— A homebred three-year-old belonging to Jim Beattie, which has been doing all thats asked of him in the morning. * GAY — A recent five furlongs in 1:00 indicates this miss is ready for brackets. SWEET VINCENT— The manner in which this son of Vincentive graduated recently suggests that he is capable of beating fair sprinters. LITTLE PEEP— Timid handling may have cost this juvenile a chance to show a better effort than turned in recently. Rates another chance. PERFECT BAHRAM— Returned to races nere after three -year absence and served notice that he may be hard to handle at middle dstances. QUICK BUCK— Poor racing luck cost this one a score in last outing. Should atone against same caliber. FLY AROUND — Has been sharpened for a middle distance appearance. Was going well at the end of a sprint. JOHN JR. — Has shown enough in a pair of local dashes to suggest a winning effort is not too far away. GARDEN STATE PARK IS PROUD— Brookf ield Farm two-year-old was extremely impressive finishing second to Laffango after a poor beginning last week and should not be long in graduating. ALEXIS — Aging sprinter seems to be holding up well for his local campaign and he should win his share of purses. PLAINFIELD— Sophomore was the easiest kind of winner here recently and appears ready to take on tougher company. EMERGENCY HOUR— Has not shown a true effort yet at this, meeting and could surprise. APACHICO— Two sprint efforts indicate that this one will be ready for the laurels the first time he is sent over a distance. SIR STEPHEN— Was eliminated at the iirst turn of his last race. Deserves a chance, against the same kind; FRENCH ROOM— Juvenile filly has been training smartly, her first race here was very good and a victory should not be long in coming. PRINCE RANSOM— Can expect this one to be right on the money in his next, while a sloppy track moves him up several lengths. MAD MAID— A stablemate to this filly, Comet Boy, came back from :his first race here to defeat shifty company, and Mad Maid is the better of tl two. ZEELAND — May have been the best when he finished second to Gnu in an impressive performance last week. KINSMAN — Is as sharp as hands can make him right now and he will be tough to beat. CRANWOOD PARK SEA WEATHER— In slightly tight quarters last time out, yet finished second. A bit of racing luck should be a factor. FREDDIE BAUM — Took the overland route all the way while going one and one-sixteenth miles the last time. More experienced handling should help considerably; AMERICAN PLAN— Initial outing here was -impressive. A highly useful plater • which usually earns a. share. AUDITOR — Has been improving steadily. Recent second to Larkmead Lass would indicate a winning performance is forthcoming. AULD SOD— Has turned in three thirds out of three starts at the meeting. Was * second choice last time and should find the right spot shortly. BUDDYS SONG— Last was not his best. Not too much class but can be expected to earn a part when in the right company. CADET S.— Bled very lightly the first outing here then ran fourth last time. All trials indicate this sophomore is nearing peak form. CARABELLE— Two consecutive victories over an off racing strip would indicate that to be her forte. A highly speedy sort too. CHECK ME IN— Raced extremely wide in her one and only outing early in the meeting. Should go well the next time out. BEULAH PARK MONOMOY— Right on edge at present and should find suitable opponents soon. LENWELL— Showed good speed to set the pace in recent test but finished second, should last longer next trip. COLLEEN EGRET— has been consistently close and is ready to win. DREAM BEAUTY— A beaten favorite who should make amends next trip. • KEATONTTME— A cheap sort who should score at a mile with ,000 rivals. FIRST MISSION— A beaten favorite who will -be placed with opposition he can beat. IVY BOY — Just missed a ;close decision in a six furlongs- sprint from a slow beginning, needs only a little more early speed. LADARIEL — Won so easily that he can be . expected to repeat.- - v BENAGLAND — Coasted to an easy tally and should register again over similar opposition. QONA— Has early speed that should see him in front and he may- last long enough next trip. 1 v
