In the latter instance, the horsemen are guaranteed a daily purse outlay of 4,500, plus ,000 for every 0,000 in handle starting at 50,000. A dispute on purses kept the Sportsmans Park track closed the final week of its recent spring meeting, the sport resuming last Monday at Hawthorne where the Lincoln Fields meet is being conducted.
