Ghanqe in Freehold Dates FREEHOLD, N. J. — Approval by Governor Driscoll of a bill that permits harness racing tracks to operate for a period not to exceed 50 days has resulted in a change in the dates originally allotted Freehold Raceway, the states only harness, track. Under provisions of the new law, two meetings now will be staged at the Freehold oval. The first will open May 28 and continue through June 21. The fall meeting will extend from August 7 through September 13.
