The latter came out to the middle of the track for the drive and finished determinedly. MISS GRADO, much used early, had little left when the real test came. JUST FREE failed to stay while racing on the outside. BLAZEXCITE made up some ground when hard hustled through the late stages. HERMIONE lacked speed. SANDY ATLAS began sluggishly.
