Candidates for Garden State Fixtures in Final Blowouts GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 29. A number of leading contenders for the rich holiday week-end fixtures at Garden State Park were caught in final blowouts for their respective engagements. Carolyn K Stables Whiff enpoof, aiming at the 0,000 added Camden Handicap, went five furlongs in 1:03. Larry Mac-Phails General Staff, bidding for the same prize, whirled four furlongs in :48. Max Kahlbaums steady Jampol, prepping for the 0,000 added Jersey Stakes, had a useful workout of one mile, going easily in 1:46. Though not performing here over the week-end, Spartan Valor made his first appearance oh the training track since winning the Valley Forge Handicap. William G. Helis, Jr.s star, while not asked for speed, jogged three furlongs in :39.
