EXTORTION raced up on the outside going to the far turn, bore in after reaching the stretch, drew out after being straightened away in the final sixteenth. ARIEL PAL closed strongly while saving ground in the last quarter. FULL PLATTER moved up on the inside rounding the far turn, made a strong bid for the lead entering the last furlong but was bothered slightly when winner came in, gave way in the last sixteenth. SUSIE raced close to the leaders from the start, finished gamely. MONOLITH lacked speed enough to improve her position. REEDON raced evenly. LYNN CHANCE moved up strongly while saving ground on the stretch turn, made a strong bid for the lead when the winner raced wide, but was not good enough. DOLLAR KING closed steadily while between horses in the last quarter. BUSY TOP raced close to the leaders to the stretch, then weakened slightly under pressure. FINI WISE showed nothing.
