Walnut Farm Filly Stakes Expected to Gross 5,000 DELAWARE, Ohio, May 29. The Walnut Hall Farm Filly Stakes for two- and three-year-old trotters and pacers is expected to be worth nearly 5,000 when it is raced Tuesday, September 16, at the Delaware County Fair Grand Circuit, according to announcement today by Hank Thomson, race secretary. The Delaware events for harness misses today stand first in value among similar events at five other Grand Circuit ovals. Based on 10 fillies starting in each race, the Delaware-Walnut Hall Farm set will be worth 3,280. Delaware, home of the famed 5,000 Little Brown Jug three-year-old pace, is expected to have its filly races shape up with the following values, presuming that 10 start in each: Two-year-old pace, 0,340; two-year-old trot, ,900; three-year-old pace, ,395, and three-year-old trot, ,645.
